Family To Release Second Chinx Album, Legends Never Die
He had a story and voice to tell it. While maintaining authenticity and demonstrating lyrical diversity through his music, rapper, Chinx made an unforgettable impact throughout hip-hop culture in a relatively short time. With his second album, Legends Never Die, set for release this Summer, listeners get to enjoy some more of that impact.
Known as Chinx Drugz of Riot Squad and a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys group, Chinx was a sure rising star in New York City. While we’ll never know just how great of a career he would have had, thanks to his posthumous releases, we’re able to continue to enjoy his music. Last year his family and team released, Welcome To JFK, featuring the single, “On Your Body”.
This year, on September 16th a second posthumous release hits stores. The album, titled, Legends Never Die is led by the new single, “Like This,” which features Chrisette Michelle and Meet Sims, the artist also featured on last year’s single. The album features 14 tracks.
Chinx was murdered last May in Queens, New York. The case is unsolved.
