Here’s What You Need to Know About Basketball Wives Star Tami Roman’s New Show
With a flourishing acting, comedy, and reality career, Tami Roman is one busy lady, but that isn’t stopping any show… literally.
The Basketball Wives star’s spin-off series, Beverly Trill Billies, will begin filming this summer, The Jasmine Brand confirms. According to the news blog, the title and premise of the production is a play off of the 1962 sitcom, The Beverly Hillbillies, which centered around a low-income family who moved to the luxurious Beverly Hills, California, after striking oil on their land.
Sources say that Roman’s new show, Beverly Trill Billies, will spotlight her relationship with boyfriend Reggie Youngblood and his entertaining family that lives down south. Roman’s family will also be featured.
Mona Scott-Young is set to produce, while Tami Roman and TV producer Ernest Dukes serves as the creators.
