Three of Love & Hip Hop’s stars were arrested in Atlanta Friday night (August 25) — based on a viral video of a bar room brawl circulating around social media.
Erica Mena and Bambi Richardson — of L&HH: Atlanta fame — were taken to jail alongside L&HH: Hollywood’s Zellswag … where they all posed for mug shots and got booked on a slew of charges, ranging from obstruction of law enforcement to battery on a police officer.
Mena is the only one being charged with attacking a police officer, Zellswag is facing a simple battery and obstruction charge, while Bambi was charged with obstruction.
As for what was the cause for the bar room brawl, Atlanta PD says they got a call to respond to the Lucca Lounge Friday over a dispute between some patrons and the security guards … and when they arrived, the officers claim things took a turn for the worse as they tried deescalating the situation.
APD claims the patrons — who ended up being Mena, Bambi and Zell, along with a male friend of theirs — became combative when they arrived on the scene, ending in the 3 Love & Hip Hop stars being arrested.
A few hours after the word of the arrests began to spread across social media, Zellswag’s man Saucey Santana took to his social media platform to explain that his man Zell was involved in the fight, only in protection of his friends Erica and Bambi, and he was not involved in placing his hands on any females. He stated he was at the event as well, but when things began to go left, he exited stage right honey. He also let us know that he bailed Zell out of jail and says he is no longer allowed to have friends!
