Together with the release of several first-look images from the forthcoming episodes, STARZ has disclosed the date for Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 3.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 3 premieres on the famed network in the United States and Canada at 8/7c on December 1 and features new episodes every Friday at midnight on LIONSGATE+ and the STARZ app globally.
Erika Woods and Wendell Pierce as “Pop” Henry and “Snaps,” as well as Ronnie (played by Grantham Coleman), whose casting was previously confirmed, can all be seen in the images for the first time.
The new photos also feature series regulars MeKai Curtis in the lead role of Kanan Stark and Patina Miller as Raquel Thomas, as well as Tony Danza resuming his role as Italian gangster Stefano Marchetti.
An official synopsis for Season 3 states that throughout the past two seasons, “Kanan Stark has slowly learned the truth about not only his mother but also himself.”

“It has been a tortuous journey for him and everyone around him. Kanan has been forced to confront his family’s seemingly never-ending web of secrets and lies with each new revelation. He has spent much of this time in denial, but Kanan’s blinders are finally off now, and he doesn’t like what he sees.
“In season three, Kanan grapples with the notions of right and wrong. Good and evil. Fidelity and disloyalty. And he’s not alone. Every member of the Thomas family must confront an existential crisis that challenges their very identity.”
In addition to Danza, Curtis, Woods, and Miller, Omar Epps plays Detective Malcolm Howard in Raising Kanan 3, alongside Joey Bada$$ as Unique, London Brown as Marvin Thomas, Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox, Malcolm Mays as Lou-Lou Thomas, Antonio Ortiz as Famous, and Shanley Caswell as Detective Burke.
