In taking a look at album sales last week, Rihanna has finally earned the #1 spot on the Billboard charts. The 238,000 units and the number one spot is a stunning achievement for the pop singer as no other project of hers has graced the top spot—Unapologetic is her seventh album in seven years. Rihanna should be very proud of her self reaching the #1 spot on the Billboard Charts. Keyshia Cole’s Woman To Woman registered at #10 with 96,695 units while Nicki Minaj’s re-issue or redo or revision Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up, fared at #28 with under 35,000 units.  Nicki blames big name retailers Walmart and Target for the lack in sales since they refused to carry the album.

Debuts of this coming week will include Alicia Keys’ Girl On Fire, which stands a good chance at bubbling in the top 10 based on reviews of the album; Wu-Tang Clan & D-Block’s Wu-Block, a gritty collabo that pulls no punches and hearkens to the iconic Hip-Hop classics the crew has presented over the years; and Freeway’s Diamond In The Ruff, in which Freeway was noted as saying the backdrop of the album is much like the stages a diamond goes through before shining brightly.
