Mike Epps Stars In New Horror Comedy, ‘Meet The Blacks’, Hitting Theaters Friday
New Mike Epps Film, Meet The Blacks Hits Theaters on April Fools Day
Comedian Mike Epps turns fear into funny with his new role in the upcoming horror comedy, Meet The Blacks. Let’s just say, if you haven’t made any weekend plans yet, you may want to add this to your agenda.
Directed by Deon Taylor, Meet The Blacks is an upcoming horror comedy channelizing the 2013 horror film, The Purge.
In the film, Epps portrays Carl Black who is a husband and a father to two beautiful children. After coming across a nice chunk of change, Carl decides that it’s time to leave the streets of Chicago behind and uproot the family to something better.
With his new wife (Zulay Henao), two children, and wild cousin, Cronut (Lil Duval) by his side, Carl hits the road headed towards Beverly Hills. The family arrives with high hopes of starting a new life but soon realize that things aren’t so sweet in the promised land after all.
What exactly has the Black family gotten themselves into? From the looks of it, a real danger zone. Upon their arrival, the family finds themselves in the midst of the annual purge, where all crime is legal for twelve hours.
Now, their only wish is to make it out alive.
Featuring a number of prominent faces such as Mike Tyson, Charlie Murphy, Gary Owen, DeRay Davis, Perez Hilton and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and more, Meet The Blacks will be playing at a theater near you this Friday, April 1st.
