Lil Bibby’s “Thought It Was A Drought” Officially Released As A Single

Chicago bred emcee Lil Bibby, the 2014 XXL Freshmen class alum, has released his new single on all outlets. Produced by DJ L, the song is titled, “Thought It Was a Drought.”
It features a familiar subject matter for the young emcee, and Bibby’s signature aggressive style and delivery.

“Thought It Was A Drought” originally premiered on WorldstarHipHop with an exclusive music video back in January.  So far the visual has amassed over 5 million views via the site.

Bibby’s debut mixtape, Free Crack was released in 2013 and the follow-up Free Crack 2 was unveiled the following year, both garnering positive feedback. He’s since released his Free Crack 3 mixtape and his debut EP.

“Thought It Was A Drought” is released via Kemosabe Records/RCA Records.

Lil Bibby’s debut album will be released later this year.
