If you have come this far, it is because you surely have doubts about how to write the introduction of your essay and in this post, we will explain why it is written at the end and how to do it.

If you did not know it, we will tell you that it is usually the most complicated part of an academic project. That’s why you often search for “write my essay” on Google. You may think that reading other people’s work will inspire you, but no, the only thing you will achieve is to get confused and not move forward with yours.

Contrary to what you think, this part is not the first to be written, but to do it, it is necessary that you have made progress with most of your text, especially the development of the content or body, which will be related to the bibliographical analysis or the research you have done.

How to write an introduction without failing?

In any case, despite having most of it done, this first part may not be as easy as you imagine. The main problem is that, when you want to write it, you may not know how to generate interest in the reader and if it does not attract him/her to read it, it is not right; or you may overextend it by including content that should not be in this section.

So, the introduction is an elementary and relevant part of your work, so you must do it correctly in order not to disappoint the person who accesses it. It will not make sense to have the other sections perfectly if this section is wrong. While the rest of us are buying a college essay, you can try to do it yourself.

Keys to writing your project’s introduction correctly

Here are the tips you need to make this step easier.

Your concept

Before getting into the subject, it is important that you know what we are talking about when we refer to the introduction.

It seems to be a simple task, but do you really understand what it implies? To answer this we will not take anything for granted, but we will show you that there are things you have not thought of before.

The introduction is always written last

We repeat: the introduction is written at the end because in it you must expose an overview of its evolution. There is no way to have a proper understanding of each part of the research and what you will seek to highlight if you have not finished developing the topic.

This means that you have to include things that you are going to get when you finish the work, for example: if you have had any inconvenience or if you like the results achieved.

Thus, it is not feasible to do it if you are not aware of the information contained in the body of the document, since it has to be clearly and precisely named to encourage you to read the work completely. So, to optimize it, you must be clear about what you have included and what you have not included, to expose more precisely what your document is about and how it is developed.

You should ask yourself the following questions…

  • What theme does it develop?
  • What is the important element that your paper contributes to?
  • Why is it significant?
  • What is the research for?
  • How was it done?

By answering them, you find the order in which you write:

  • Describe the topic and the reader will know what will be in the rest of the paper
  • It justifies the study, along with the aims, objectives, and scope
  • It details the methodology and the way it has been carried out
Stages in writing an introduction

As explained above, we differentiate the following four phases:

  • In the first, you have to add what is being investigated, making a brief conceptual description, with the problem, its causes, and what could happen if the analysis and approach are not carried out.
  • In the second phase, you must explain what you are interested in achieving, either academically or socially. These interests are related to the objectives.
  • In the third, you must include the perspective given to the project, the theory in which it is framed, the population under study, the sample, and the methodology for obtaining information.
  • In the fourth you should indicate the structure of the work, summarizing what the chapters or sections are about.

With these recommendations, surely you are now a little more ready to start writing your own introduction.
