Did Nicki Minaj Diss Megan Thee Stallion on Her New Song?!
Did Nicki Minaj diss Megan Thee Stallion?! Rapstress Nicki Minaj dropped her first song of the year on Friday (March 3), “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” and many are saying she threw serious shade at fellow lyricist Megan Thee Stallion.
Merely hours after “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” was released, listeners hopped on social media and began debating about whether Nicki Minaj let off shots at Megan Thee Stallion or not.
In the song, Minaj spat, “I don’t f*ck with horses since Christopher Reeves.” The bar refers to the late “Superman” actor, who fell off a horse and was paralyzed back in 1995. Likewise, many fans presume that the Young Money star mentioning a horse is taking aim at the “Pressurelicious” star.
Minaj appears to diss the Houston native again later on the record when she raps, “That .40 cal make ’em dance like a go-go.” Tory Lanez was convicted of firing a .40 cal handgun at Megan Thee Stallion’s feet. Coincidence or not?

Did Nicki Minaj Diss Megan Thee Stallion on Her New Song?!
If you didn’t know, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion teamed up in 2019 for Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer” track, which also featured Ty Dolla $ign.
Following the release of the hit, fans speculate that the possible beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion began after Stallion collaborated with Cardi B on “WAP” in 2020. Minaj and Cardi B have feuded in the past, and some fans feel that Stallion chose sides by doing the hit record with the Love & Hip Hop phenomenon.
In her song “Super Freaky Girl” (2022), Minaj ignited Stallion dispute rumors by saying, “Tell that goofy, get a chair / she was cocky, I could swear / ‘Till my old tape sold more than your album / drop a tear.” Listeners said with “Something For Thee Hotties” (Stallion’s project) being outsold by “Beam Me Up Scotty” (Minaj’s mixtape), the line was certainly a shot at Stallion.
So far, Minaj nor Stallion have confirmed that they have a beef. Hip-Hop is dangerously competitive; thereby, if the ladies opt to duke it out on wax it’ll fittingly add immense value to the genre.
