Insiders of the situation informed the media outlet that Tekashi had been frequently going out in public without his hired security for the past year without any problems. They also mentioned that he wants to continue living his life as normally as possible and is chalking up the gym beatdown as an outlier.

Regardless of the assailants’ warning that tattletales are not welcomed in their neighborhood, Tekashi has no plans to leave South Florida.

However, Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, revealed that he’s aiming to talk to the Feds about getting protection for his client. But, the New York native himself is not keen on accepting any security measures. Fans have theorized that Tekashi would be a target for retaliation after he “put numerous men in jail for a long time.”

It remains to be seen if this decision will have any consequences for the 26-year-old’s safety. The police are still trying to find the guys responsible for the attack. With Tekashi’s high-profile status and contentious past, there is no telling what could happen next.
