Twitter reacts to Charlamagne ‘outing’ straight guy for watching Saucy Santana twerk videos. During Saucy Santana’s The Breakfast Club interview, Charlamagne called a straight guy who worked at the station into the room to let Saucy Santana know that he watched his twerk videos.
This got awkward for a quick second — One of the straight dudes at the Breakfast Club told Charlamagne he be watching Santana twerk videos, so he brought him in during the interview pic.twitter.com/Zo0UikqDLn

Twitter didn’t think Charlamagne outing a straight guy for watching Saucy Santana twerk videos was funny or appropriate, especially since historically straight men have been hostile towards queer people when put on the spot about their sexuality.
I like the way Santana handled this because putting the other guy on the spot like that was messy as hell https://t.co/4elGiIls1O

Santana has been rrady for the spotlight for a long time, see how he switched that conversation up to a learning moment at the end. That’s that media savy shit. https://t.co/d5Kl9ymZBI

When Santana says “That’s what I love about me…” ????. Everyone needs that level of love for themselves to be able to give props when needed. https://t.co/7lbwLW7ztB

This isn’t funny at all like what was Charlemagne trying to achieve what a weirdo

I’m glad Santana reeled it back to a valuable point in the end cause that was really messy by calling that man out. https://t.co/w1PWpsByAF

Thankfully it didn’t phase Santana bc he’s so outgoing, but it put him in a tight spot too. Putting a man that self-describes as straight (closeted or not) in that position usually leads to them being hostile towards the queer person to overcompensate their questioned sexuality

But dude wasnt hostile at all, it was just two people having an honest moment. Charlemagne tried to throw them both off but both parties handled it well

Yeah, thankfully the guy wasn’t the type of person to do that & Santana was outgoing enough to cheerfully course correct the situation. I’m just saying the situation Charlemagne set up very commonly puts two people in danger bc of queerphobia.

Do y’all think Charlamagne ‘outing’ a straight guy for watching Saucy Santana twerk videos was inappropriate or just meant for entertainment?
