Doja Cat has been placed on the hot seat by her fans these past few days, but now she is blasting them back—this time she is feuding with her staunch fans over a nickname.
Doja Cat has attacked her fans on Threads for adopting the fanbase name “Kittenz” in a string of deleted posts.
The “The Vegas” rapper made a post on Instagram’s threads where she said “My fans don’t name themselves shit. If you call yourself “Kitten” or fucing “Kittenz” that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents around the house”
When asked by a fan “What should I change my name to since you don’t like the term Kitten”, Doja responded by saying “Just delete the account and rethink everything it’s never too late”
It didn’t just end with her dislike for the fanbase name “Kittenz. Doja also admonished a fan who named their account after her. She said “You making my government name your sn is creepy as fuck”
A fan asked Doja to profess love to them when they tweeted “I wanna hear you say (I do love you guys) As you usually say to your fans”
Doja responded by saying “I don’t though cuz I don’t even know yall”
Another fan shot back by saying “We don’t know you but we have supported you through thick and thin. Mind you, you’d be NOTHING without us. You’d be working at a grocery store making songs on fucking garage band miss high school drop out”
Doja shot back by saying “Nobody forced you to idk why you’re talking to me like you’re my mother bitch you sound like a crazy person”
Earlier this weekend, fans called her out over her relationship with J Cyrus. J Cyrus is a social media content creator accused of being a predator. Doja Cat’s fans did not receive the news of her new relationship well and decided to point it out to her. Doja on the other hand, blocked them.
This isn’t the easiest time to be a Doja fan. We hope the dust settles in time for her new upcoming tour starting this fall.
