Fans of ‘The Wire‘ are going to love this! HBO Max knows what they are doing, recruiting several members of the breakout series’ cast for their new Baltimore set series, ‘We Own This City‘. But that’s not where the similarities end, the series is from the same producers as the ‘The Wire‘ as well. We’ll see if the We Own This City series can find it’s own lane when it premieres on April 25th.
We Own This City is a six-episode limited series based on the book by Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton. The show chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force.
