Ahmed Ololade, popularly known by his stage name ‘Asake’ or as he calls himself ‘Mr. Money’ has done it yet again. Asake, who some would regard as an upcoming artist shut down the O2 arena yesterday, and fans couldn’t stop talking about it. He is yet another Nigerian artist to achieve this feat after Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy at a whopping 102, 000 capacity during his performance at the O2 arena.
Asake rose to fame in 2020 with his song ‘Lady,’ and was signed to the YBNL Nations record label in February last year. Since then, he dropped only 100% hit albums; Mr. Money with the Vibe and his most recent called Work of Art.
The Afro-pop artist made a grand entrance at the O2 Arena in the YBNL chopper floating atop everyone while “Oloun,” one of the songs on his latest album, “Work of Art” played.

He performed some of his hit songs, “Organize,” “Sunmomi,” “Mr ‘Money,” and “Lonely At The Top.”
The concert also featured guest performances from top artists such as Tiwa Savage, Fireboy, Olamide, Fridayy, and Tunde Baiyewu of the Lighthouse Family duo. Tunde Baiyewu performed this song ‘Ocean Drive,’ which Asake sampled in his recently released song titled “Sunshine.”
Over 20,000 tickets were entirely sold out for the show. Fans who couldn’t be at the O2 arena opted to watch the live stream on YouTube, which had 48,000 viewers at the get-go. At the peak of the show, there were 68,000 people watching Asake perform his art. He was presented with the SOLD OUT plaque after the show.
