The Mayback Music star, Rick Ross has indicated an interest in buying Michael Rubin’s Philadelphia 76ers ownership stake. The rapper made this known under Michael Rubin’s farewell Instagram post to Sixers fans yesterday.

“I’ll buy his 10% lol,” Ross remarked in the comment section.

The celebrity CEO and 76ers minority owner, Michael Rubin announced yesterday, June 22 that he would be selling off his 10% stake in the Sixers to relieve a conflict of business interest as he looked to expand his Fanatics brand into the sports gambling world.

One could say Rick Ross is currently desperate to become a co-owner of a sports franchise. Early this month, the rapper tried his luck at having a piece of the Miami Dolphins; he took to Social Media where he proposed buying a 5% stake in the organization.

The 10% stake in 76ers which is now up for sale was purchased by Michael Rubin at about $290 million back in 2011. The franchise since then has grown and is likely to be worth much more. Considering the Rapper’s estimated net worth of $45 million, do you think he can afford to make the purchase? Let’s know what you think in the comment section.
