Shereé Whitfield talks about Phaedra Parks possibly returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta with the show’s former producer, Carlos King.
As you all may know, Whitfield’s co-star Kandi Burruss-Tucker has been very candid about her stance on Parks making a resurgence in the popular Bravo franchise.
During an interview with It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper not too long ago, Tucker made it clear that if the network revisited the idea of bringing Phaedra Parks back, she’d pack up her peach… for good.
However, while Tucker feels that that would be the best idea, her fellow on-again, off-again castmate, Shereé Whitfield, doesn’t think so.
When asked about Tucker’s refusal to participate in the series alongside Parks, Whitfield said, “We are here to do a reality show. And as much as I love Kandi, I feel like, at the end of the day, they should–or she should–understand that this is for the show. We can’t be [like], ‘Oh, I don’t want to talk about that. It’s not cool, so we can’t do it.’ It’s for the betterment of the show.”

Season fourteen of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to premiere on May 1st and will see Whitfield and Tucker along with Kenya Moore, Marlo Hampton, Drew Sidora, and newbie Sanya Richards-Ross at the forefront.
What are your thoughts? Would you like to see Phaedra Parks return? If so, is it feasible for Kandi Burruss-Tucker to say goodbye to the controversial series?
