GloRilla has a lot to say about women’s empowerment and not just in her songs. Recently she took to her Instagram stories and Twitter to encourage women to be “toxic” in their 20s since they’re still young.

“Hey ladies, I just want to let y’all know, be toxic for the rest of your twenties. You only get one life, live your toxic twenties…” she said. She continued, attributing the right to be toxic to the fact that you’ll only be in your twenties once in life.

“You never get to be twenty years old; 21, 22, 23, 24; none of that ever again in your life. Be toxic.”

She continued her sentiment saying that by the time a woman is in her thirties she’ll be too old to be doing things like “slashing tired and doing all this sh*t.”

“Cause don’t get in your thirties thinking you can just go slashing tires and doing all this st. You’re too old for that now,” Glorilla added. “You’re too mature. Be toxic for the rest of your twenties. And if you’re delusional, turn the sh*t up a notch!” she said with a smile and a thumbs up. “Enjoy the rest of your twenties…You only get to do this st one time.”

Naturally, Twitter had a lot to say about Glorilla’s stance. More specifically, Black Twitter.

“Toxic 20’s leads to single 30’s which leads to don’t nobody take your old ass serious 40’s. Don’t listen to this bird ass advice,” Mimi Hendrxx tweeted.

“Being toxic in your twenties will have you broke, battling depression, out of shape, friendless, and career-less in your 30’s. Please stop taking advice from ppl who get paid to give bad advice for likes,” @NkechiKwenu wrote.

“This is why they become single baby mamas. They gotta stop listening to women who get cheated on and start taking advice from women in happy relationships,” SheFell4Russia said.

Meanwhile, Glorilla has been living her best life as she’s shown on Instagram of her recent performance.
