[FIRST LOOK] ‘Grown-Ish’ Season 6 To Guest Star Kelly Rowland & Other Celebs

For its sixth and final season, the collegiate comedy Grown-ish has added even more famous appearances. Season 6 guest stars Latto, Omarion, NLE Choppa, and Kelly Rowland have all been added.

On Saturday, June 3, Austin, Texas’ ATX TV Festival provided casting news to fans.

Rowland, former member of Destiny’s Child and a Grammy award winner, will play Edie, the chair of Cal U’s psychology department and a tenured professor.

Latto, the hip hop phenom behind the third-charting song “Big Energy,” will play Sloane, a wine representative who works with Doug (Diggy Simmons).

Additionally, Omarion, a former member of B2K, and “Shotta Flow” spitter NLE Choppa from will play themselves.

Kelly Rowland Set To Star On Grown-ish

Anderson.Paak, The Free Nationals, and Lil Yachty were among the previously confirmed guest stars, and a trailer for Season 6 teased the high-profile additions.

Omarion declares in the teaser, “Yeah, it’s me,” reaffirming his identity as the real deal. “My attorneys terminated Faux-marion years ago. However, if you see No-marion, tell him to “tick-tock.”

Season 6 of Grown-ish will follow Andre “Junior” Johnson Jr. as he continues to live at Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) old school “and makes moves to step out of his sister’s shadow and become a big man on campus,” according to Freeform.

Additionally featured in the cast are Tara Raani, Justine Skye, Trevor Jackson, and Daniella Perkins.

The 100th episode of Grown-ish will be featured in the sixth season, which will run in two parts. On June 28 at 10/9c, the first half will debut, with the second to follow in 2024.

Executive producers for the show include Laurence Fishburne, Kenya Barris, Shahidi, Helen Sugland, Michael Petok, E. Brian Dobbins, Craig Doyle, and Anthony Anderson. The show is produced by ABC Signature. For Season 6, Doyle is also the showrunner.
