Tinashe has responded to Chris Brown’s clapback regarding her comments about working with him in the past. Unsurprisingly, she was very calm and collected about it.
TMZ caught up with the R&B sensation earlier this week to talk to her about Chris’ response.
“You had Chris Brown going off on you over your stance on him. Do you think he blew things out of proportion?” the TMZ reporter asked.
“I think he probably didn’t actually watch the full video but it is what it is. That’s fine. It’s all good, [I’m] focused on the future,” Tinashe responded.
“Of course, I mean would you ever wanna talk to him like maybe make amends with him or something like that?”
“Ummm, I would talk to him if he wants to reach out. It’s all love. It’s all good, we’re trying to be positive and move on to bigger things,” the singer replied.
However, when asked if she would ever perform her song “Player” which Chris is featured on, Tinashe wasn’t as optimistic. The track came out in 2018.
“What will you be doing with the song ‘Player’ that you share with him, will you ever perform it again?” the TMZ reporter then asked.
“I already don’t perform that song anymore because it’s just like we’re doing all the new music on the tour,” Tinashe responded.
In case you missed it, Parle Magazine reported that Chris Brown had a few harsh words for the musician due to her response about a question regarding working with him and R. Kelly in 2015. She replied to the question with a laugh, saying she blocks the memory out of her mind and that she didn’t think a collaboration with Chris Brown made sense.
Not too long after, an offended Chris took to the comment section of an Instagram post about Tinashe’s subtle disrespect saying, “NAME 5 TINASHE songs or die … EVERYBODY DEAD.”
Chris Brown has not publicly responded to Tinashe’s latest open invitation to speak with her on the matter.
