An alarming video shows Mike Tyson and Tupac Shakur celebrating the boxer’s victory moments before the rap star was murdered.
‘Iron’ Mike and 2pac showed each other immense love after the one-round demolition.
On September 7, 1996, after leaving the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where boxer Mike Tyson had just defeated Bruce Seldon, the renowned rapper was mercilessly shot to death.
Nearly 30 years after Tupac’s death, Keefe D has been taken into custody in Las Vegas by police. The killer of the hip-hop legend, who was shot numerous times in a drive-by attack, remained at large.
Tupac witnessed Tyson defeat Seldon in the first round to win the WBA heavyweight championship before he was shot and killed.
Tyson spoke candidly about the passing of his friend and claimed that Tupac’s shooting was “planned in advance.”
When addressing Fat Joe, the 54-year-old stated: “I never said this, but all that stuff was planned in advance… I believe that the fight was the opportunity for it to happen.
“I just believe that was the perfect opportunity for something like that to happen… Everybody knew everybody was going to be there.”
The boxing legend furthered: “And the people that wasn’t there, wasn’t there because they knew who was going to be there. This is the real. Tupac was just a force. He was just an uncontrolled force and that was the problem. He was powerful and he just – no one could control him.”
