Diddy thanks Cassie at this year’s BET Awards?!

Yep, and, because of it, the internet has a lot of questions… specifically for Caresha.

During his acceptance speech for the Lifetime Achievement Award, the 52-year-old recipient paid homage to an array of people who served a great purpose in his life and career.

However, in doing so, he left out City Girls’ Yung Miami (aka Caresha), who, just a few weeks ago, announced that she and the illustrious entertainment mogul “go together real bad” during an episode of her new REVOLT show, Caresha Please.

Instead, while giving the late Andre Harrell, Heavy D, The Notorious B.I.G., and the beloved Kim Porter, whom he shared three biological children with, their flowers, he also showed appreciation his ex, singer Cassie.

“I’ma keep it a hundred with y’all,” he started off. “I was in a dark place for a few years, you know what I’m saying? And I have to give a special thank you–shout out, thank you, all that love. I gotta give a special thank you to the people that was really like there for me.”

Diddy then went into naming a list, which seemingly saved the best for last.

“Bishop T.D. Jakes, my Chief of Staff, Kristina Khorram, Laurieann Gibson, [for] keeping me free,” he carried on. “Yeah… and also Cassie, for holding me down in the dark times.”

If you didn’t know, Diddy and Cassie were in a very publicized relationship that reportedly started in 2007 and went on for many years.

The old romance is still highly controversial, seeing as though the New York-born music maven’s rumored boo Gina Huynh is alleging that she and Diddy, too, were going strong throughout that time period.

Recently, Huynh and Yung Miami even traded shots over social media, as Huynh made it clear that she was and still is a part of Diddy’s love triangle.

But… following Diddy’s Lifetime Achievement Award words of honor, Twitter is wondering where Yung Miami fits into the equation.

Though, after much speculation, Diddy and Yung Miami confirmed that they were single but dating, it isn’t sitting too well with the people of the bird skreets that he failed to (at least) acknowledge the “Top Notch” raptress among the others who fulfilled important roles on his journey.

The hoopla arose after viewers saw Yung Miami holding up a ‘Go Papi’ sign for him in the crowd.

Earlier in his speech, Diddy did say, “I wanna be clear; I know I’m missing a lot of names, so this is what I wanna do. I wanna thank everybody–that means everybody, every single person, even if I didn’t say your name–that played a part in my life. Thank you!”

That wasn’t enough to keep the outsiders quiet, though.

Of course, Twitter came with the opinions, but Yung Miami didn’t seem bothered one bit. In fact, she added on to her support for the original bad boy by tweeting:

She even clapped back at comedienne and TV personality Jessie Woo.

As did her duo mate, JT.
