Saturday Night Live guest celebrity hosts are always the highlight of the evening, and their monologues seem to steal the show without avail. With SNL’s most recent guests seeing the likes of female rap star Megan Thee Stallion just a few months before her trial against Tory Lanez, as well as multi-talented actress Keke Palmer using the platform to make her pregnancy announcement. Now the Michael B. Jordan SNL monologue will join the ranks as he uses the platform to publicly address his break-up with Lori Harvey, talk about his directorial debut for the movie Creed III and more!

Michael B. Jordan began his SNL monologue as most do, by being ushered in by the infamous SNL Band. He starts off with a serious of phrases that begin with “Michael B”, such as “Michael B in therapy”, to calm his nerves and segways into a clip of him on that very same set as a 16-year-old playing in his first role as an extra on the daytime tv soap-opera All My Children.

Once SNL’s twitter handle unloaded the clip of Michael’s monologue, Twitter users responded by pointing out their favorite parts of the monologue, as well as praising Michael for a few skits within the show, mainly the “State Farm skit”.

You may be familiar with the insurance company State Farm and their spokesperson “Jake from State Farm” and the many array of commercials that show Jake being there for any State Farm customer in their time of need. Michael B. Jordan gives us his version of “Jake from State Farm”, and it is hilarious!

As mentioned earlier, Michael made is directorial debut by directing the follow-up film to Creed II, entitled Creed III starring actor Johnathan Majors that made its way into theatres just before Thanksgiving of 2022.
