The Hip Hop 50th anniversary show being held in New York City this summer is going to be off the chain and meat rack.

First, on Friday, August 11, at Yankee Stadium, the Sugarhill Gang, Run DMC, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and a host of other performers will ring in the 50th anniversary celebration.

Then, on Friday, September 15, at the star-studded Hip Hop Forever 50th Anniversary performance, Mariah Carey, Wu-Tang Clan, and Mary J. Blige will take the stage at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to ring in the half-century of hits.

At the one-time, Funk Flex-curated event, they will be joined by fellow legends EPMD, Tyrese, Maxwell, and Sean Paul.

We also have your back if you desire tickets for what will undoubtedly be one of the most popular performances of the year.
