5 Lifestyles That Might Appeal To You

You can choose to live all kinds of different lifestyles. Maybe you prioritize certain things, and those lead you to make the life choices that you do. Perhaps you have particular characteristics that make you choose a lifestyle you’d like to lead.

We’ll talk about a few different lifestyles in the following article. Maybe one of the ones on our list will appeal to you.

The Motorcycle Owner Lifestyle

Purchasing a Harley Davidson motorcycle might appeal if you want to embrace a countercultural lifestyle with a long and glorious tradition behind it. Motorcycle riders usually have a wild streak in them, and they like to show it off. You might work a regular job, but you demonstrate your adventurous side by riding your Harley to work every day.

Maybe you like going on road trips with your friends. If you all own Harley’s, it’s like belonging to a special club. You might have conversations with strangers about your Harley. They admire the beautiful machine to which you dedicate so much of your time.

The Harley lifestyle comes with certain inherent risks. Even if you’re a very careful rider, motorcycle accidents can prove dangerous or fatal. Falling off a motorcycle usually does more damage than getting in a car accident. With cars, you at least have a solid frame protecting you from the road and other vehicles.

If you ride a Harley, though, you might not care about any of that. You’re willing to tempt danger a little bit. You have a rebellious side, and that’s probably never going to change.

The Homebody Lifestyle

The homebody lifestyle keeps you at the spectrum’s other end. Getting on a Harley is probably the last thing you want to do. Bowling night once per week is the most exciting thing you might regularly do.

Homebodies are usually not all that sociable. If you’re an introvert, this life might appeal to you. You like staying at home and gardening, reading a book, or maybe binge-watching some shows on Netflix.

If you can find someone who prioritizes the same things that you do, you might enjoy being homebodies together. You can marry this person or cohabitate with them. You two can stay in and get to bed nice and early every Friday night. For some people, nothing sounds better than that.

The Jetsetter Lifestyle

The jetsetter lifestyle leads you to travel the world, looking for adventure. You’re at home in Rome, Budapest, London, Paris, Los Angeles, or Tokyo. Maybe you speak several languages, and you can get along fine in all sorts of mixed company.

Your social media timeline shows you hanging out with celebrities or at sporting events in luxury boxes with entrepreneurs. If you live the jetsetter lifestyle, you’re probably wealthy. If not, you have some job that allows you to travel and pays you a high salary.

The jet-setting lifestyle might appeal if you’re an extrovert and you can close deals. Maybe you’re the individual that a company brings in if they want to expand into an international market. You live a lifestyle that James Bond would enjoy, and you enjoy being among the glitterati.

The Sports Fan Lifestyle

The consummate sports fan lives a lifestyle focused on sports. You might miss major family events, either religious or secular, to go see your team play. You think nothing of skipping a wedding anniversary if your team is in the playoffs. You feel it’s more important that you go and support them.

If your team loses, you’re likely to face severe depression. You talk about sports with people who don’t know anything about them or don’t like them very much. You own dozens of team jerseys, hats, jackets, etc.

This lifestyle can lead to heart attacks or strokes at a young age if your team causes you too much stress. You’re a passionate person, but one who prioritizes things that others simply don’t regard as important.

The Serial Dater

The serial dater lifestyle involves you dating different people all the time. You probably have several dating apps on your smartphone, and you’re constantly talking to and meeting new people.

You could say you have a successful love life because you go out on a lot of dates, but maybe you’re never willing to settle down. You feel like you can never find the perfect person.

Because of that, you always go on to the next opportunity. You might reach old age without ever coupling with someone long-term.
