J Cole Releases Video For “False Prophets” & Twitter Explodes
J Cole has been trending for over 24 hours with the announcement of his new album, titled 4 your Eyez Only. Then the impending release of his album documentary, Eyez put music and a visual to the buzz. Now his official video for “False Prophets” is the real nail in the coffin.
Cole appears to take shots at Kanye West on the first verse of the song and the internet is speculating that he’s going at Wale on the second verse. It definitely sounds like he’s opening it up to much more of the industry however. It can be argued that he’s making blanket statements about artists like Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi and even Jay Z on the first verse. The second verse can be talking to Drake, Meek Mill and many other artists.
