Sammie Coming of Age Album Out Now
R&B veteran, Sammie, is once again focused on a top 5 spot on the charts with the pending release of his forthcoming album. The Sammie Coming of Age album was released on Friday September 15th. The singer, who last year revealed his EP, I’m Him, is making the most of his resurgence with a new 13 track project.
The Sammie Coming of Age album is his first full album since 2006’s self-titled project, though Sammie has released several EPs and mixtapes since his return to music.
“Coming of Age was inspired by every woman I’ve ever been in love with,” Sammie explained in a statement. “My Mother told me every relationship, fling and one-night stand even, will have an effect on the man I ultimately become. Through trial and error I’ve learned many lessons, which sculpted me into the man I am today.”
The first release from the album was a track titled, “Bad Gal”, which has a trendy island vibe to it. The track was revealed earlier this Summer. Listen to “Bad Gal” below:
More recently Sammie has released four new buzz singles ahead of the album release. The new singles include, “COA”, which is the title track, “Good Life”, which features Rick Ross, “Shoes” and “Too Long”. Here’s Sammie talking about the new singles:
