Demi Lovato Is Going On Tour With DJ Khaled In 2018

It’s been a month since the release of actress-turned-singer Demi Lovato‘s sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me. The commercially-praised album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, with “Sorry Not Sorry” as the lead single–which peaked at number six on Billboard Hot 100. With the ongoing success of Tell Me You Love Me, Lovato has decided to hit the road in support of the project, bringing none other than Mr. DJ Khaled, himself. This past Thursday, Lovato announced the major key alert via Twitter, and the fans went buck wild. Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled sharing the same stage? We can assure that this is going to be epic.

However, though the duo may come as a shock to some, we actually saw this coming. Lovato was last seen performing “Sorry Not Sorry” at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, in which Khaled joined her joined her on stage. The two were also both featured in the recent One Voice: Somos Live! Disaster Relief Benefit Concert, presented by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s charity alliance, Somos Una Vos (We Are One Voice). So, it was only right to come back and give the fans what they’ve all been waiting for, right? Right.

While Lovato will be performing songs from her Tell Me You Love Me, Khaled will be hitting the stage with fan favorites from his latest release, Grateful. The #DemixKhaled tour will serve as Lovato’s sixth headlining tour. Last year, she embarked on a joint tour with Nick Jonas; however, the fans wouldn’t rest until they got more Demi, and it looks like they will… in TWENTY cities, this time around! The forthcoming tour will kick off on February 26th, 2018 in San Diego and run until March 31st, making its departure in Tampa, Florida.

When asked if the tour would expand to other areas, Lovato revealed that this is only phase one of the tour, so stay tuned!

Check out the official #DemixKhaled tour dates below.
