This isn’t the original battle we thought we were getting, and might not even be the battle that we wanted, but on Saturday, April 4th, the latest Verzuz battle, presented by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, featured T-Pain vs Lil Jon. The T-Pain vs Lil Jon battle featured two of the biggest names to dominate music in the 2000s.
Honestly, I would have much preferred to see Lil Jon perform against DJ Khaled or someone of that cloth, since Jon is a bit more of a DJ/producer/hype man than an aritst, but pitting T-Pain against Scott Storch seemed like an unfair fight so that battle was changed to feature Scott Storch vs Mannie Fresh. Who would be a better fit for T-Pain: Missy Elliott.
