Young, Famous & African is a brand new Netflix original that is taking Africa by storm and this is all thanks to the amazing cast which comprises the wealthiest crop from different corners of Africa. With a cast filled with actors, artistes and stylists, the show is definitely one to watch out for. Here’s your opportunity to meet the cast of Young, Famous & African.

The reality show aired for the very first time on March 18, 2022, and revealed a star-studded cast of eight individuals living the most fabulous lives. Mansions, designer clothes, private jets and expensive cars, Young, Famous and African is built on revealing the coveted life of Africa’s entertainment elite, shining a light on a less talked about African narrative.

The showrunner, Peace Hyde described the rationale behind the series as an “opportunity to project young, upcoming Africans in a modern, cosmopolitan, developed way.” She definitely delivers as we follow the aspirational lives of these Africans that we hardly see on our screens. YFA captures these entertainers as they approach love, friendship, work, social climbing and living the A-list life in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Netflix being the home of quality content, expertly picked the most influential and adored Africans to bring the drama and the heat as no stone is left unturned. Usually the masters of hiding their personal lives, they show the raw and vulnerable sides of their personas, revealing heartbreaks, betrayals and co-parenting woes. There is so much to unpack this first season and so many names to learn, so let us help you by giving you the rundown.
