The Essence Festival roster has been announced! The Essence Festival of Culture returns in person in New Orleans after a two year hiatus. The Essence Festival 2022 lineup will include headliners Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, New Edition, and Kevin Hart. Other main stage acts include The Isley Brothers, The Roots & Friends, D-Nice & Friends, Summer Walker, Jazmine Sullivan and more artists will be announced soon.
Essence Festival 2022 returns to New Orleans from June 30th – July 3rd. The festival returns to their 4 day format, which they abandoned a few years ago. The first night, June 30th will be headlined by comedian Kevin Hart.
Nicki Minaj headlines on night 2, Friday July 1st
Joining her are Beenie Man, KES, Machel Montana, & Mickey Guyton
