Back in September 2022, Nicki Minaj filed a defamation lawsuit against vlogger/social media personality Marley Green (better known as Youtuber ‘Nosey Heaux’) for referring to her as a ‘cokehead’ during one of her videos. Green never responded to the legal notice, thereby, the Young Money star has elected to take further legal action.
Judd Burstein (Minaj’s lawyer) indicated that the Youtuber “has not responded or moved with respect to the complaint and the time for her to do so has expired.” Nosey Heaux is also said to have made “vile remarks” about the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper’s son who’s merely one year old.
Since the Youtuber hasn’t replied to the lawsuit, Nicki Minaj is now suing for $75,000 citing “punitive damages.”
Nicki Minaj Suing Youtuber Is Setting an Example
In October 2022, Burstein sent a copy of the summons via email to Bobby Samini (Green’s attorney) and even gave the deadline a two-month extension. The judge approved the motion and prolonged the cutoff until January 2023.
Evidently, Minaj nor Burstein are thrilled with Nosey Heaux’s discourteous actions and wanted her now to cough up seventy-five grand for disrespecting the Queen of Rap.
Burstein remarked: “Marley Green is a disgrace — someone so lacking in fundamental decency that she has posted vile comments about Nicki’s one-year-old son. When this case is over, she will no longer be permitted to use the name ‘Nosey Heaux’ because we will take her trademark from her when she does not have enough money to pay the judgment.”
