The most recent studio album by Kanye West, Donda, has now been out for two years. Even though he hasn’t put out much on digital streaming services since then, it now appears that Yeezy may have a new album on the way.
A new interview with Chicago hip hop artist Rooga was published on Wednesday, July 12 by the YouTube program “No Jumper.”
Rooga and West worked together on “Ok Ok” two years ago; it was the seventh song on Donda and included a verse from Lil Yachty.
Rooga sang “GD Anthem,” a celebrated song he released in the summer of 2021 and dedicated to his GD gang in Chicago, at one of the several listening parties Kanye threw in the weeks preceding the release of “Donda.”
Adam22, the presenter of NoJumper, who was aware of the close bond between Rooga and Ye, questioned Rooga about West’s most recent locations and behavior. “He’s working on an album,” Rooga remarked bluntly without wanting to reveal too much.

New Album From Kanye West Possibly Coming
This news concerning forthcoming new music from the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper is essentially the first legitimate hearsay in a very long time.
The fact that he acknowledged having recently traveled to Japan at the beginning of the interview, where Ye was photographed last week with his new spouse Bianca Censori, further supports Rooga’s assertion.
Donda 2, Ye’s most recent album effort, was released in early 2022. He had a few listening sessions for the project before electing to release all of the tracks from the unfinished, yet-to-be-mixed, and yet-to-be-mastered LP via Stem Player, a song streaming device he had backed and invested in.
The album never received an official release on DSPs despite featuring verses from XXXTentacion, Jack Harlow, Travis Scott, Migos, Soulja Boy, Baby Keem, Don Toliver, Future, and others.
