The Game Reveals “Rest In Purple” a Prince Tribute Song

The Game has released the first tribute song for Prince with his new record “Rest In Purple.”  The song is a powerful ode to the singer and entertainment icon who died on Thursday April 21st. The rapper, Game shared track via his instagram account.  “Rest In Purple” is produced by Bongo by the way and  features Lorine Chia on the chorus.

@Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching #PurpleRain til the time I met him at Universal Music in 2006…. I was a fan then & I am a fan now ! His death was untimely & tragic… I’m sure the world is saddened as I was when I woke up to the news today…. Long story short, @bongobytheway hit me & told me stop by the studio & record a small tribute to him & his legacy & once I heard the beat, I hit @LorineChia to do the hook….. Hope you appreciate it….
