Reginae Carter Claps Back At T.I., Defends Dad, Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne’s Daughter, Reginae Carter Defends Lil Wayne, Slams T.I.
This story just keeps growing and today as Reginae Carter defends Lil Wayne, the children make their way into the mess. It all started when clips from the Lil Wayne Nightline interview were released last week, and Lil Wayne appeared to make a fool of himself because of his apparent Black Lives Matter ignorance. Lil Wayne apologized by the end of the day saying that he was mad about negative questions regarding his daughter, Reginae, and simply had no interest in listening to or answering questions after that point.
Reginae Carter is now 17 years old.

T.I., who recently released an EP titled, US or Else, which was pro Black Lives Matter and very political in it’s content, spoke out against Lil Wayne this past weekend, with a very public instagram post, clearly taking a stance against longtime friend and collaborator, Weezy. The post did raise questions about why a friend would reach out to another via a very public forum, but it also was a chance for T.I., a leader in the politic Hip-Hop movement, to take a public stand against ignorance, even if it was a stand against a friend.
Well Reginae Carter wasn’t happy about it, and she let T.I. know, right in the comments of the post, saying, “should’ve copied and pasted this and sent it to him [Lil Wayne] thru via text but u wanna seek for attention.” She also jumped on twitter to follow-up on the post with another clear message for T.I. and anyone else who had something to say about her parents, which she posted early this morning.
DO NOT COME FOR TOYA AND WAYNE . Just point.blank.period.

Not only are T.I. and Lil Wayne long time friends, but their daughters, Reginae (Lil Wayne and Toya) and Zonnique (T.I. and Tiny) are good friends and were once members of a girl’s group called The OMG Girlz (or Officially Miss Guided). The group was managed by T.I.’s wife and Zonnique’s mother, Tiny, who was a member of former girls group, Xscape. The OMG Girlz have since parted ways but as far as we know they remain cool.
Hopefully all parties sit down soon and work this out before it gets uglier.
