Mary J Blige Strength of A Woman Is Ultimate Music Therapy

The new album from Mary J Blige Strength of a Woman is out now… and it’s exactly what could be expected. Less than a year after announcing that she was separating from her husband of twelve years, and also her manager, Kendu Isaacs, Mary J Blige has released this heartfelt project. You can hear the heartbreak, pain, and sadness all over the project. And listening, you can only imagine the tears. Still, it’s all about the ‘Strength’ following the pain.

Last month Mary released the album artwork and announced the release date.  This is Blige’s first album in almost three years. She revealed the lead single “Thick of It” to end 2016 and the latest single, “U + Me (Love Lesson)” is just a touch of what you can expect from her songs about ex-husband, Kendu Isaacs.

Most recently she released the single, “Love Yourself” featuring Kanye West, who is one of an unusually high amount of features for a Mary J album.  However, three of the features do appear on one track.
