Remy Ma has launched a clothing line through Vim Vixen entitled ‘The Remy Ma Collection.’ She has announced that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit women, post-incarceration.

In addition to the clothing line, Remy has started the Remy Ma Foundation. The foundation will provide resources and overall life enhancement for women and their families in their post-incarceration lives. It hopes to encourage women to develop positive mindsets and provide support for women who have experienced trauma. Her foundation will give women access to counseling, job training, legal aid, and assistance and strategies to overcome homelessness. Being formerly incarcerated herself, Remy has a very personal understanding of these women’s needs.

She writes:

“When I got out of prison, I wanted to do something to support women just like me…women who have done their time and paid their debt to society. Nonetheless, these women are still over-looked and forgotten after being released from jail or prison. Resources and services are largely catered to men, disregarding the women that greatly need our support. A portion of the proceeds from my clothing line “The Remy Ma Collection” will go towards my foundation @remymafoundation, which helps women who have experienced incarceration, by providing opportunities and life-long resources to help enhance their lives and the lives of their families.”

The Remy Ma Collection can be shopped at shopvimvixen.com! To celebrate the launch of the line, Vim Vixen is holding a competition through November 21st for the chance to win a $500 shopping spree.
