The R&B General just blessed us with the project we didn’t even know we needed. On Friday, March 27th, Tank unveiled a new project, a six song EP titled, While You Wait. The Tank While You Wait EP comes just 5 months after he released his latest album, Elevation.
The EP is lead by the new single, “Perfect”, an accurate description of the track and the project.
“When I decided to do this EP, I wanted to give my fans something different and special, given the times we’re in. Just my piano and me. I wanted to bring this back to the basics of R&B.” He goes on to say “‘Perfect’ honors all things that make a grown man happy with his woman. Even with their perceived flaws…You’re perfect for me,” Tank explained of the track.
The EP features 6 tracks, all accompanied by the piano, providing an intimate sound and a classic R&B feel.
