Director Chris Robinson has unveiled a teaser for the upcoming sequel to ATL. After years of waiting, fans got the first look at the new film, which was originally released in 2006. The first look for the ATL 2 movie finds the cast members reuniting while walking down the street.
ATL 2: The Homecoming stars all the original cast members, including T.I. aka Clifford Harris, Lauren London, Jackie Long, Jason Weaver, Albert Daniels, Evan Ross, and Malika Haqq among others. T.I. originally announced that the ATL 2 movie sequel was in the works since 2015. Here’s the first look…
There is currently no word yet on the film’s release date.
The original movie was loosely based on the lives and experiences of the film producers Dallas Austin and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins. The movie premiered at No. 3 at the box office. Meanwhile the soundtrack spawned hits like, “What You Know” by T.I., who also found enormous success with his King album.
