Courtney Clenney charged with murder of her boyfriend, Tobecchuckwu Obumseli following a recent arrest. Her boyfriend was a Nigerian American. The model is accused of stabbing Obumseli to death. The incident happened at their residence in Miami, in April this year.
The 25 year old is popularly known across social media as Courtney Tailor. She has 2+ million followers on Instagram. Her OnlyFans page has been taken down.
On Wednesday, Courtney Clenney was arrested in Hawaii. According to reports, Courtney Clenney will be facing second degree murder charges for allegedly killing 27 year old Christian Obumseli. Frank Prieto, her defense attorney confirmed this. Courtney’s attorney said she was previously at a rehabilitation facility before she was arrested. She was undergoing treatment and rehabilitation for substance abuse in Hawaii, he explained.
Prieto said “I am completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender if she were charged,” he said to the Miami Herald. “We look forward to clearing her name in court,” he continued.
Clenney’s arrest is coming four months after the prosecutors reopened a probe into the fatal stabbing incident. The model is said to have stabbed Obumseli in the Chest on April 3 after they had a fight in their luxury apartment building. This happened in the ritzi Edgewater neighborhood of Miami.
Clenney was found drenched in blood. Her attorney said Courtney attacked in self-defense when her boyfriend, Obumseli attacked her after stalking her for a few weeks.
