After being married in 2024, Redd and her ex-husband, who is more often known by his stage name T Davinci, were in the midst of going through the divorce proceedings when she visited his home and took various personal belongings. She was taken into custody before posting bond.

The legal representation of Redd, Steve Sadow, a renowned attorney from Atlanta who has previously represented President Donald Trump, provided a copy of the order that DeKalb County issued stating that the case should not be pursued. The news of the dismissal was shared by her representative through a picture that was posted on X with the statement, “bogus case against my client, Karlie Redd (Lewis), one of the stars of the show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, has been dismissed!”
Judge LaTisha Dear Jackson signed the order, stating, “…While probable cause exists, the State is unable to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”
How did Karlie and Teleau meet?
Karlie and Teleau Belton, the chief executive officer of NowThatsTV, a digital media platform, first met in person as part of a work-related collaboration centered on community activities. Almost immediately, a romantic relationship began to develop between the two individuals. Prior to this, Belton had been sending her direct messages (DMs) on social media; however, she first disregarded them until the business opportunity opened and allowed their paths to intersect in a more meaningful way for the first time.
Their relationship, which quickly escalated, turned into an engagement by June 2024, before the premiere of the show’s 12th season on July 23. Shortly thereafter, the pair had a romantic secret wedding. The marriage aired on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Season 12 (which premiered in January 2025). During the season, Redd opened up about the “learning curves” of adjusting to married life as a single mom.

Beginning with Belton apparently having a baby daughter with another woman around the time of the engagement. After a period of less than a year of marriage, Belton eventually filed for divorce, and throughout the course of the proceedings, a temporary spousal support order of around $18,500 per month was issued to Redd. The marriage barely lasted a year.

Redd wants to make it quite clear that she was never guilty of those charges. “These claims were completely untrue, and I was unfairly targeted by false statements made by my ex-husband,” she revealed. “I was unfairly targeted by false statements.” All charges have been dropped, which is evidence that the truth is true.
She expressed her thanks by saying, “I am thankful for my legal team, my family, my supporters, and everyone who stood by me during this difficult time.” Additionally, she confirmed she will hold onto her faith, focus on her work, and keep helping others.
Redd can no go back to focusing on her own entrepreneurial ventures. Redd opened up a highly successful new restaurant in late September in Downtown Atlanta, Red Room Bistro. She has also committed her life to advocating for domestic abuse survivors through her non-profit, Big Heart Foundation.
