The 22-year-old Bronx-born rapper Ice Spice who blew up almost overnight following her latest release receives backlash for her reportedly under-par Rolling Loud performance.

Ice Spice has been having the star kind of life and attention since the release of her viral hit track “Munch (Feelin’ U).” Aside from reportedly receiving a coveted co-sign from 35-year-old Drake, the two were recently spotted together in Toronto at a concert.

Fivio Foreign brought Ice Spice out on a surprise cameo appearance during his set at the 2022 Rolling Loud New York. Although the crowd seemed to be happy to see Ice Spice as soon as she appeared on stage, the up-and-coming artist is currently receiving backlash from fans on social media regarding her performance.

One of these fans that evidently had something to say to Ice Spice was Fetty Wap’s former girlfriend Masika Kalysha.

“Bruh…(netural face emoji),” she tweeted in response to the stage performance clip posted by XXL on Twiter. “I’m not a hater I want everyone to win I really do… soooooo can someone please get ice spice some stage presence coaching & breath control training ? please.”

While lots of others on social media seem to agree with Masika, some alleged Masika was not in the right position to disapprove of Ice Spice’s stage performance.

“It is funny how you Are talking about stage presence and can’t even make it on stage,” one tweeted.

Among many others, a fellow rapper Maliibu Miitch took to social media in Ice Spice’s defense.

“It’s actually not funny or kool (unimpressed face emojis),” she wrote. “Ice is a upcoming artist[,] give her time to grow u think her or team knew she was going to blow up like this? Let her enjoy everything she has coming to her… she’ll get there soon!”

Ice Spice has clapped back to Masika’s tweet.

“She fried,” she commented using the french fries emoji.
