Alleged Wife Killer Timothy Bliefnick’s ‘Family Feud’ Episode Shows Him Joking w/ Steve Harvey About Marriage

Suspected murderer Timothy Bliefnick’s Family Feud episode has resurfaced.

The former Family Feud contestant, who has been accused of killing his estranged wife, joked with host Steve Harvey on the show three years ago about regretting his union.

Bliefnick was detained on Monday (March 13), the Quincy Police Department in Illinois reported, for shooting his wife Rebecca in her house on February 23, 2023, before a relative discovered her. The charge has been refuted by Bliefnick’s counsel.

After his arrest, fans unearthed a scene from a 2020 Family Feud episode in which Bliefnick and comic legend Steve Harvey quipped about their regrets about getting married.

Harvey queried, “What’s the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” Bliefnick wholeheartedly replied, “Honey, I love you, but I said ‘I do.’”

In response to gasps and laughter from the live audience, Bliefnick continued, “Not my mistake, not my mistake… I love my wife. I’m gonna get in trouble for that, aren’t I?”

Rebecca and Timothy jumped the broom in 2009, but they had been apart for a while and were going through a divorce when Rebecca was slain.

The man’s lawyer, Casey Schnack, told Fox News that the Family Feud comment was only a joke and had nothing to do with Bliefnick’s divorce.

Schnack remarked, “It’s a game show. A silly answer to a silly question on a silly show doesn’t make one a murderer.”

The arrest record states that Bliefnick was taken into custody by police on March 13 at 8:24 am “for a no-bond warrant for two counts of first-degree murder and home invasion for the murder of Rebecca Bliefnick.”

The record furthers that “without incident” Bliefnick was placed in custody and “transported to the Adams County jail where he is presently incarcerated.”
