In response to widespread demand, Cam’ron has said he will release the Killa Season sequel later this year.
Earlier this week, the Harlem native uploaded a fan post on his Instagram Story highlighting the controversial scene in which Cam’ron character spits on his rival’s daughter, while simultaneously disclosing the info about Killa Season part two.
The Dipset mogul also included a caption informing the world that there will be a sequel, which fans are eagerly anticipating. Killa Season 2 will reportedly debut this year in time for Christmas 2023, according to the Cam’ron.
Killa Cam captioned his Instagram Story: “Fine I’ll do it. Ks2 this Christmas. You’re welcome!!!!!”
Cam’ron Confirms ‘Killa Season’ Sequel
A rapper selling dope in New York’s Harlem was the subject surrounding Killa Season (2006). Flea, portrayed by Cam’ron in the movie, had a supporting cast that included Funkmaster Flex, Hell Rell, Juelz Santana, and others.
The movie is a loose adaptation of Killa’s journey from high school basketball talent to full-time heroin kingpin. It was also heavily influenced by Karlton Hines, a fellow basketball superstar from his high school.
Together with his fifth studio album of the same name, Cam’ron also put out his directorial debut. The L.P. sold 114,000 copies in its first week, propelling it to the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200.
Cam’ron announced new songs for a Killa Season album sequel on Instagram back in 2021. The rap legend, who was donning shades and a bandana, played a portion of the song “24 Year Run Hun” while sitting in his car in the video.
On the song, Killa spit, “God, family, money, nothing above it/ For this chicken I’ll turn you turkeys to nothing.”
