“Where did we leave off, then?” Insists the Season 2 trailer of Interview with the Vampire.

Since Bailey Bass left between seasons, Delainey Hayles took her place, Season 1 ended with Louis (Jacob Anderson) introducing “the love of my life,” the neck-biting Armand (Assad Zaman), while back in the day, he and Claudia (Bailey Bass) left Lestat (Sam Reid) behind… but with large rodents at his disposal.

We’re now getting a very good (bloody) look at what’s to come, along with Hayles as Claudia, courtesy to this new footage that was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con.

Claudia and Louis are introduced to the Théâtre des Vampires in the blurb. but she inquires, “Who’s that handsome guy on the wall?” towards the conclusion — and Lestat is depicted in it.

Season 2 of ‘Interview with the Vampire’ Coming Soon

Interview with the Vampire, which is based on the renowned and best-selling novel by Anne Rice, tells the epic tale of love, blood, and the dangers of immortality as it is experienced by Lestat De Lioncourt, Louis de Pointe, and Claudia.

Following the Season1 finale back in Nov 2022, Anderson told reporters, Louis “wants [love] desperately. He wants to be accepted and to be understood. And I think that’s a big part of what love means to me. It’s about somebody else accepting you and you accepting them in all of their multitudes.

“Maybe Louis didn’t exactly find that in Lestat, but that’s also kind of the premise upon which he first fell for him. This person said, ‘I see you.’ And I think that’s a really important thing for Louis, is being seen and understood. But I don’t know if he has particularly healthy ideas about love.”

Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire will debut on AMC and AMC+ in 2024.
