New York & Company Launches Gabrielle Union Clothing Line
New York & Company is reaching new heights with the announcement of their newest collaboration with famous actress and entrepreneur Gabrielle Union. The famous actress and entrepreneur has been working her way towards success since 1989 when she began her career in acting. The award winning actress who currently stars in The BET series Being Mary Jane, which she has received critical acclaim for, and a NAACP image award is now pursuing her next venture—a clothing line and a new role as brand ambassador for New York & Company. New York & Company is basing the theme of this Gabrielle Union clothing line on the character that she plays on Being Mary Jane, who is a working woman that likes to dress fashionably.
For the Gabrielle Union clothing line, Gabrielle is focusing on embracing diversity and catering to women of course, especially women who want to be able to dress fashionably without having to pay the full cost to do so. You can find the Gabrielle Union clothing line collection on the New York and Company website with pieces that are classy, fresh and affordable—something everybody likes. In August, she also plans to launch her own namesake collection with the company.
What she plans to bring to the company is her own spin to it by adding a unique element of style. In an interview with Essence she mentions, “Chic jumpsuits in the boardroom, dramatic coats over suiting,” among other things. So we can expect to see some trendy clothing designs that will fit a variety of career women.
Along with all of the beautiful clothing designs that Gabrielle has shared with us, she previously shared her hair care line called “Flawless,” which is also just as affordable as her clothing line. These products are what helped her begin to regain her natural, healthy and sustained hair. She is hoping it offers the same benefits to other women. Ms. Gabrielle Union is looking to empower women and give them somebody to relate to.
