Today, R&B mainstay, Sammie has released his new single, the heartfelt ballad,. “Face To Face”. The song appears on Sammie’s latest album release, Everlasting, which was released on March 1st. Watch The Sammie Face To Face music video below.
The introspective new single finds Sammie at odds with himself over the his treatment of the woman he loves. He questions his wrongs, his maturity and his choices, while trying to explain it to himself and potentially justify it. He takes a hard look at himself, and comes “face to face” with his infidelity.
“Being in a relationship is hard work, but LOVE is the most rewarding experience any human can have, ” Sammie says. “Face to Face”…it’s literal. I grew tired of running from myself. Lying in a bed of lies. So much so, that if I recited them enough times I’d start to believe that they were true. It became sickening and difficult to carry. At some point, we all must look at ourselves in the mirror and chisel at the things we don’t fancy about ourselves. The lyrics, “I’m even tired of me,” Sammie confesses when sharing the inspiration when writing the song.
“Face To Face” is written by Sammie. The music video is directed by Keoni Mars.

In addition to the “Face to Face” visual release, Sammie also announced the details for his upcoming Everlasting Tour with Damar Jackson, today. The tour kicks off in June.
