The buzz was growing for a new album from the biggest boss, Rick Ross for some time now.  It’s finally here. While he initially made it seem like the album was being released in mid-July, Port of Miami 2 was officially released on August 9th.

Ross came into the music business back in 2006 releasing his critically acclaimed debut album, Port of Miami.  13 years later and releasing his 10th album, Ross has decided to go back to the roots and release Port of Miami 2.  The album follows his 2017 release Rather You Than Me.

A few weeks ago Ross joined Drake on his new single, “Money In The Grave”.  The single has found fast success.  The track isn’t on Port of Miami 2 but fans are in love with the track.

Rick Ross premiered the lead single, “Act A Fool” back in July.  The single features Wale.

The follow-up single, “Big Tyme” features Swizz Beatz, produced by Just Blaze.  Ross has released the visual for the track as well.

Drake teamed up with Ross for the third single, “Gold Roses”.

The most recent single off the Rick Ross Port of Miami 2 album is “Turnpike Ike.”  The song is produced by Jake One, but its a familiar tune, because Wale had the track first for his song, “Groundhog Day.”  If you remember, that was Wale’s response to J.Cole after the “False Prophets” track.  It doesn’t make the most sense having Ross take it over, but the song is luxury rap at its finest.
