It ain’t a Gospel Christmas if Kirk Franklin ain’t involved! This December, Lifetime will show just how great the holiday season can be when you involve a legend. Their new holiday movie, Kirk Franklin’s A Gospel Christmas is set to air on December 4th at 8/7c, part of the network’s It’s A Wonderful Life holiday series.
Kirk Franklin’s A Gospel Christmas will star Demetria McKinney and Chaz Lamar Shepherd. The film also includes an appearance from Kirk Franklin, who produced and arranged the music for the film.

When Olivia (Demetria McKinney), a young assistant pastor, gets assigned to be a lead pastor at a new church a month before Christmas, she’s fearful she can’t manage the transition, including getting the choir ready to open the town’s annual Winter Jamboree. Banding together with her new congregation, Olivia discovers a new home for herself, and even finds a little Christmas romance along the way!
