New music Friday is upon us again and the Rod Wave Beautiful Mind album is finally here ladies and gentlemen! After a long, almost to the date 2 month wait, the album is finally here with much anticipation from Rod Wave himself and his fans!

Rod Wave was reportedly due to release his album Beautiful Mind on June 3 and then changed to June 10. But as Friday June 10, 2022, came and went, there was no sign of the album from the Florida native, and many of his fans were not happy!

On August 02, 2002, Rod Wave posted the album cover to Beautiful Mind to his Instagram account with the caption “Album: Beautiful Mind@🦋 8/12 Love ya Forever , and I appreciate everything you’ve done fa me🌎🔥🤝”

Rodarius Marcell Green was born on August 27, 1999 and is known professionally as the rapper and singer Rod Wave. He is known for his strong voice and incorporation of hip hop and R&B and has been recognized as a trailblazer of soul-trap. The album Beautiful Mind will be Rod Wave’s 4th studio album to date.

Wave’s career began in 2016, with the release of his mixtape Hunger Games Vol.1. He released several mixtapes independently prior to signing with Alamo Records. On June 14, 2019, he released his mixtape PTSD, which included the song “Heart on Ice”. The song went viral on YouTube and TikTok, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wave’s debut album, Ghetto Gospel, was released on November 1, 2019 and it peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard 200.

Rod Wave’s second album, Pray 4 Love, was released on April 3, 2020 and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, with a deluxe edition following on August 7, 2020. Several songs from the album charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Rags2Riches” featuring ATR Son Son, which peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100 and became his highest-charting song.

On August 11, 2020, Wave was included on XXL‘s 2020 Freshman Class. In July 2020, Wave revealed during an interview that he was working on his third album, which was originally scheduled for August 27, 2020. He revealed the track list for his album SoulFly on March 6, 2021. After SoulFly came out, it was the number 1 streaming album on YouTube. It was released on March 26 and includes a sole feature from Polo G on the single “Richer”. The album also includes songs “Street Runner” and “Tombstone”, his highest-charting song which peaked at number 11 on the Hot 100. In late 2021, Wave garnered some controversy with the release of the song “Nirvana“, that many regarded as a suicide letter, which he strongly denied.

The album Beautiful Mind has 24 tracks and includes features from artists Jack Harlow and December Joy, and a skit featuring comedian Druski.
