In a now viral video, Busta Rhymes throws a drink on a fan that decided to sneakily grab his derriere from behind.
On Tuesday (Feb. 14), an onlooker uploaded footage to the web of the “Gimme Some More” rapper becoming agitated and splashing his beverage on an overeager fanatic.
Trevor George Smith Jr. (better known as Busta Rhymes) was seen strolling with a group people into an undetermined location when suddenly a woman excitedly ran up on him from behind, stuck her hand out and grasped his hindquarters.
Peeved he had just been violated, the hip hop legend turned around and threw his drink at the fondler. Water spattered nearby spectators, and individuals began standing back from the potential combative situation. Acting fast, Busta Rhymes‘ team deescalated the state of affairs by getting in between the “Dangerous” hit maker and the woman.

Nikita Mathis, the woman that groped Busta Rhymes, released a statement replying to the social topsy-turvydom that broke out and confessed to unjustly touching the emcee.
The Shade Room quoted Mathis: “I didn’t mean to touch his behind honestly I was just happy to meet him and wanted a pic been a long time fan. I admit I shouldn’t have touched him at all but he’s BUSTA. I felt like I could possibly get a pic.”
Busta Rhymes has yet to release a statement regarding throwing his drink on Mathis.
Earlier this month, Rhymes was seen on Feb. 5 rocking the stage at the 2023 Grammy Awards. He and other legendary artists performed in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop tribute.
During a red carpet interview, the Brooklyn native saluted the Recording Academy for showing love to the hip-hop culture and said the celebratory event was something that takes place “once in a lifetime.”
